Accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein was found dead of an apparent suicide in his cell in a Manhattan correctional facility this morning; August 10, 2019. And according to the following tweet by right-leaning journalist Michael Coudrey there was an apparent camera malfunction in that facility on the same night of Epstein’s death; screenshot of the tweet below as well for reference:

BREAKING: Alleged "camera malfunction" last night at MCC where Jeffrey Epstein was locked up.

This claim clearly has no supporting evidence, yet the person posting it is a “checked”/verified Twitter user with over 170,000 followers.

Is there any evidence supporting this claim anywhere? Are there any other media outlets supporting this claim in any way?

Post is related to a rapidly changing event.

Yes, it is too early for us to be able to answer this - we don't do investigative journalism, We summarise and highlight what others find. – Oddthinking Aug 11 at 7:28

Once this is no longer a current event, a follow-up question on the current US President's retweet of the claim that a former US President was responsible for Epstein's death, would not be out of place IMO. – A E Aug 11 at 17:52
