Is there any video that substantiates this Reddit comment?

I don’t recall the specific date or circumstance, but he was appointing Giuliani to some position on his transition team, and at a press event announcing it, he was sitting DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM HIM and was in the middle of his announcement is like “and Rudy will be a tremendous asset to...Rudy?....where’s Rudy?” and Giuliani says something to the effect of “I’m here Donald.”

I'm not sure a Reddit comment constitutes a notable claim. – TheWanderer Jun 6 at 0:15

How would this be "notable"? Most of Trump's contemporaries resemble Giuliani -- it would be hard to pick him out of a crowd. – Daniel R Hicks Jun 6 at 1:40

There is video of the incident.

Rudy doesn’t say “I’m here,” he just starts talking after he’s announced, which is when Trump mumbles “Where’s Rudy?”

That said, Trump is scanning from one end of the table to the other when Rudy is sitting directly across from him, so the claim is essentially true.
