It has been reported in mainstream media that US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg attended a concert on MondayFebruary 4, 2019. For instance: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2019/02/04/ruth-bader-ginsburg-makes-first-public-appearance-since-cancer-surgery/2774939002/

What evidence is there that Ginsburg attended this event? Is this evidence sufficient to conclude that she did attend? Is there evidence she did not attend? Her attendance might reasonably be doubted since:

  • she underwent major surgery late in 2018
  • she had not appeared in public for several weeks leading up to the concert
  • she did not attend the state of the union address the following night
  • she is not attending cases heard before the supreme court
  • she has not been seen in public since the concert
  • there is no photographic evidence of her attendance at a concert in her honor
  • There's nothing to suggest that she's dead. – Obie 2.0 Feb 7 at 15:57
  • @Obie2.0 I'm not asking whether she's dead, just whether she attended a concert. That she did was claimed and I am asking that this claim be evaluated. – Patrick87 Feb 7 at 16:03
  • This question appears to be a duplicate of Is Ruth Bader Ginsburg alive as of February 2019?, which mentions the concert in the question. The answer explains that the concert did not allow any photos to be taken. Does anyone actually care about this concert or would a recent picture of her doing anything else suffice? – Laurel Feb 7 at 20:26
  • @Laurel That question was closed for not challenging a notable claim. This question challenges the claim that Ginsburg was at the concert, which seems notable. You are suggesting that there is no photographic evidence, which doesn't help the claim (indeed, it might hurt it if you think nobody taking a picture despite the policy stretches credibility). – Patrick87 Feb 7 at 21:53
  • I downvoted. Not a notable claim but does seem to be a conspirecy theory. – Jerome Viveiros Feb 8 at 9:52
