There is this shaddy webserver on Czech internet that has written an often-shared article about Windows 10 user tracking. There is a lot of text, I would like to know if the following information hold any scrutiny:

Hlasové vzorky toho, co řeknete do hlasového portu, jsou okamžitě odesílány na tyto servery Microsoftu:

oca.telemetry.microsoft.com oca.telemetry.microsoft.com.nsatc.net

vortex-sandbox.data.microsoft.com pre.footprintpredict.com

i1.services.social.microsoft.com

i1.services.social.microsoft.com.nsatc.net telemetry.appex.bing.net

telemetry.urs.microsoft.com cs1.wpc.v0cdn.net

statsfe1.ws.microsoft.com

Cortana odesílá data na internet, i když jí ve Windows 10 zakážete (disablujete)

Translation:

Voice samples of what you say are immediately send on these Microsoft servers:

[...]

Cortana sends data to internet even if you disable it in Windows 10.

  • ^ be sure to read the answer with highest upvotes though - the accepted answer is rather vague and seems to contain more assumptions than actual facts – stijn Aug 19 '15 at 10:47
