However, it's probably useful to indicate the exact wording of the question asked and the option chosen, and how many people chose not to give an answer. I think wording matters, because countries other than the US tried developing a nuclear weapon pre-1945, and countries other than the US have exploded nuclear weapons, albeit not in a country they're at war with.
