I occasionally like to answer other peoples' questions, and when I solve a difficult problem, I like to share it with the world.

Is there a such thing as “starvation mode”? I don't see any answers in the other question that confirm or deny the existence of 'starvation mode'. Also, any answer here has nothing to do with the 6-meal-a-day-strategy question, which simply asked whether the diet was effective, regardless of the mechanism - be it preventing the body from entering 'starvation mode' or be it something else. |

Will a small cut heal faster when “aired” periodically, or should it always be bandaged? Finding a lot of yahoo answers saying to let it air out, finding lots of news articles saying that this is a huge mistake, still looking for something with references though. |

Mobile towers pose serious hazards? Also related: Can microwave ovens give you cancer? Basically, all the speculative calculations in that presentation are irrelevant because those frequencies of radiation have no ionizing radiation impact |

Do “probiotics” have health benefits? I've been fooled! Good thing I never cared enough about my health to buy this crap anyway. |

Do 70% of Marijuana users also use while working? Regardless of the fact that this can't discredit the original claim, these are certainly much more 'telling' statistics - and if anything point out just how weak and meaningless the original claim is. Besides, "the Illinois State Police" isn't exactly a reputable statistics office. |
