Are online petitions making any effect at all? @Ipavlic I was mentioning them in general. whitehouse.gov was simply an example to show what kind of petitions I have in mind. Basically, I see that people of the internet take those petitions very seriously, trying to reach the specified "passing" count of votes, while most of the petitions (even passed ones) are simply ignored. So basically, the question is what power do petitions have? |
