So far not impressed with the community on this site.
They claim to be skeptics but highly upvote an answer that basically says the world would explode if that were true and downvote a well formulated question because it might offend homosexuals and/or victims of sexual abuse.
On the first with a dumb, highly upvoted answer, it appears that an apparent partisanship to naturalism was preferred over actually showing why young earth creationist arguments do or do not stand up to scrutiny.
On the second, it is clear that a question written with plain language asking for a measurable answer is ok on this site, so long as it is not about a touchy subject that when mentioned makes the question's mere existence offensive.
This is hardly skeptical behavior and should be admonished rather then upheld.
